Golf Course
Beautifully landscaped trees, tree lined fairways and well manicured greens are all a part of the allure of Walden’s 18-hole championship course.  Designed by Von Hagge and Devlin, the 6,781-yard, par 72 layout takes superb advantage of the surrounding pine forests, gentle hills and Lake Houston.

Dress Code
Men must wear a collared shirt or mock turtle neck shirt at all times. Shorts must be of a Bermuda length or of a style designed for golf.  Golf shoes must be worn on the course.

Ladies must wear either a collared shirt or one with sleeves.

The following clothing is prohibited on the Golf Course, Putting Green and Driving Range:  All denim (so called “blue jean” material) clothing, short shorts, cutoffs, tennis shorts or running shorts, tennis-length skirts, denim, T-shirts, tank-tops, and warm-up suits.  No metal spikes are allowed.

Golf Etiquette
Pace of Play:  Players should play without delay.  If a group loses more than one clear hole on the players in front, it should immediately speed up pace of play, or invite the group following to pass.

Bunkers:  Before leaving a bunker, a player should rake and smooth over all irregularities and footprints made by the player.

Replace Divots: Repair Ball-Mark Damage: Through the green, a player should ensure that any turf, cut or displaced by the player is replaced at once and pressed down.  Sand is available on all carts and should be used to fill-in divots.  Also, any damage to the putting green made by a ball should be carefully repaired.

Practice:  All practicing should be limited to the driving range and practice areas of the club, including the putting green and the sand trap.
