About the course at
Walden on Lake Houston

Walden on Lake Houston Country Club, founded in 1984, features a Robert Von Hagge/Bruce Devlin designed golf course. The layout features 5 sets of playing tees and Champion Tifdrawf Bermuda Greens. Over the last 5 years, the Club has received a facelift as renovations to the Bunkers, Course Restrooms and Tee Boxes have been completed.

Members also enjoy practice facilities including a full driving range, vast putting green, and a chipping green with sand bunker. While the golf courses, practice facility, and Clubhouse provide an ideal backdrop for golfers to congregate, the Club is really all about the Members. It’s about fellowship, community, family, fun, good times, and of course the love of the game. Golf and Social member events fill the calendar throughout the year and provide an array of formats for members to enjoy themselves.

Current Hours of Operation

Golf Shop:

May through August: Tuesday – Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM*

September – April: Tuesday – Sunday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM*

*Golf Shop hours are subject to change due to weather or daylight savings time.

Practice Range:

The driving range will be open Tuesday – Sunday weather permitting. The range is available for Golf Members and their guests.

Summer Hours of Operation:   7 AM – 7 PM     -           Winter Hours of Operation:  7 AM - 5 PM

Our tournament staff will assist you with all your Monday tournament details. Whether you’re raising money for a charity or civic group, or letting your sales team impress key clients out on the links, the Tournament Professionals at Walden on Lake Houston will put together your entire Monday morning or afternoon golf outing so you can focus on your guests.
